JEPSAN Group, Inc. is a Systems and Software Developer that has worked all aspects of projects. We have engineered embedded real-time systems and delivered on innovative development programs. Though small JEPSAN Group has been able to do research and development in several areas: digital signal processing, 3 axis real world mapping, incident/crash recorder software, ballistic and vehicle simulations, avionic distributed networks, distributed databases, and real-time intercomputer interprocess communications.  

Engineering work is provided by contractual statement of work, consultant, or independent contractor basis.

From the beginning,  JEPSAN Group has done more than "pump iron,"  i.e. just sell computer hardware.  We've attempted to bring computer solutions to business and industry utilizing a whole system approach.  The 'whole system' is a package: computer hardware, software applications/drivers, and service; sometimes referred to as turn-key.  Early on in microcomputers it was much easier for a small company to apply whole system methods.  Customers knew very little about these new, evolving machines, and they needed a lot of handholding.  Currently, due to the perceived commodity nature of desktop and server PCs and accompanying software, it is more difficult.  Why?  The customer has been convinced by the major hardware/software vendors that they can avoid the middleman, buy direct, and drive the computer (or system), without assistance.  Translation: everyone is a computer expert, hardware margins are thin, and service is driven by replacement rather than repair.

JEPSAN Group has adapted to this reality and concentrated its efforts in systems and software engineering.  Occasionally, we have the opportunity to run a turn-key project.
